This is my top-choice school. I am a white male living in Illinois and I have a 3.46 (out of 4) unweighted GPA and a 3.96 weighted GPA. I've had a rigorous courseload each year. I took 3 honors classes freshman year, 2 honors and 1 AP class sophomore year, and this year I'm taking 1 honors class and 2 AP classes, for a total of 3 AP classes and 5 honors classes. I've only taken one AP exam for European History. I got a 5 on it. Extra-curriculars: Solstice Art and Literary Magazine-part of the staff since freshman year. The Gay-Straight Alliance-since sophomore year. Let's Help Out-Community service I HOPE to be president of the Gay-Straight alliance. I am almost positive that I will be considering that I'm the most dedicated member and I will be one of only 2 seniors in it next year. I got a 28 on my plan test (which "predicts" a 29-33 on the ACT). I really have nothing unique to boast about, like an award or anything. Maybe if my cheap dad had kept me in voice lessons, guitar lessons, and piano lessons, I would (I excelled in music, A LOT). Okay well I'm done ranting So will I? BE HONEST. I'm freaking out about getting in. I don't know whether I'm going to apply for the Biology Major or for the Architecture major. I know those are harder majors to get into.
